Job description
Family Medicine Clinic is looking for an experienced Nurse LPN/RPN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive health care to clients and patients of all ages within the LPN’s scope of practice according to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice.
Duties:
- Blood Pressure and other clinical measurements
- Vaccinations, Dressing changes,
- Health education & counselling to clients, their families
- Providing support to Physicians in the Clinic, as required
- Providing test results or information to patients/clients
- Assist in referring clients to specialists, hospital and/or community agencies as needed
- Assisting with allergy testing under physician supervision
- Reception duties when needed
- Patient education and explanation of services provided
- Other duties as advised by Supervisor or designate
Qualifications:
- Current RPN qualification and designation
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Experience in community health and/or family practice setting
- Clinical practice experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency using computers and Electronic Medical Records (Telus PS Suite EMR)
- Flexibility to work some evenings
- Bilingual English-French is an asset.
- This is a Part-Time position that may lead to Full-Time based on performance

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
